Housing has been going up all over the U.S.A., but especially in Florida. The reason can come from many different sources. In many parts of Florida, housing costs have been rising by over 50% in the last three years. The influx of retirees leaving large cities with lots of cash in hand tend to buy homes much cheaper in Florida, increasing prices. Homeowners insurance prices have skyrocketed in recent years due to hurricanes and some insurance companies leaving Florida altogether. It elevates the problem of affordable housing.
3. Finding a Job
Finding a job in Florida can be like finding a job in most places in the states. The jobs are located in the bigger cities with higher living costs, and with salaries not being high enough to accommodate living in the areas, many people need to commute for those jobs. As prices rise, the market becomes even more challenging.

Then you have those moving in from some of the southern states like Mississippi, Alabama, and even Kansas who are shocked by the prices of gasoline and housing. So, Florida may be cheap to some, but it is shocking to those who are expecting more affordability from their home states.
7. Too Many Retirees
Florida is written about so many times for people to retire and live. You have great weather, and you could be a snowbird if you want. Those people come down for the winter and then back up north for the summer. The influx of retirees means slower traffic, more activities geared towards retirees, and whatever else could come with them.

One thing that people not from Florida will dislike is all the bugs. There is a particular season called Love Bug season. These love bugs fly everywhere, getting smashed on cars and stripping the paint off. It is a fun season. Then you have mosquitos that are everywhere. Also, beware of spiders. Florida has a multitude of different spiders, from Black Widows, Brown Widows, Wolf Spiders, and others just crawling around. So Florida has a lot of bugs.
9. The Wildlife
If the bugs do not get you running away from the state, maybe the wildlife. Most bodies of water have the potential to have alligators swimming in them. Then you have to beware of the snakes. The black ones are usually good, but beware of water moccasins, Eastern Diamond-Back rattlesnakes, Coral Snakes, and many others. There are also black bears that roam around, as well as the elusive Florida Panther. These are just some of the animals that can be found in Florida’s wildlife. Some could even wander into your neighborhood.

As people move to Florida, they bring their politics with them. It makes Florida one of the hottest political states in the U.S.A. It has many people, and it is a swing state. Recently, the state has become more conservative, which could be controversial towards some of the implants coming in. You can guarantee that as people come from all over, so do their political ideologies.

Higher education happens to be quite affordable and excellent in Florida.
